WHY I CREATE: to reveal and heal the illusions that harm us all
Right now, we live in a world that's divisions are widening by the day, that's media regularly dehumanizes our brothers, sisters, and non-binary soul family as "others" separate from us that can be placed outside our circles of compassion, and that's societal norms have so vastly disconnected us from our inextricable interdependence with each other and the earth. So how do we get to the more equitable, safe, just, and more beautiful world we’re all seeking? We surely don't need more voices that just tell us to "just forget" or "get over" the intergenerational historical traumas, cultural conditioning, and self-perpetuating systems of harm that divide us; we need supportive containers and tools that can help us to realize, deconstruct, heal, and grow from the hyper individualist programs that divide us via the illusion of "every man for himself." We can begin again: together.
WHAT I SERVE: the divine interconnection that unifies us all
I have a vision of another world — one where the eyes of our hearts, and thus minds, are cleansed by the recognition of our inseparable interdependence with each other and the earth; where we remember the power of our collective voices and will; where all acts of intra+interpersonal, systemic, and environmental harm become so unthinkable, that when any of us gets lost in illusions of separateness and fear, both our communities and culture will support us in finding our way back home to each other and ourselves. I believe that if we truly wish to create regenerative and self-sustaining peace, we cannot use the brute force through top down regulation, but must co-create such a radical groundswell r/evolution of hearts that acts of peace both in our individual lives and collective systems will become a natural and inevitable consequence.
WHO I AM: a human here to help bridge what divides us
As a highly sensitive empath deeply affected by the cultural illusions and systemic inequities of this world, I am fervently driven by two co-existing and deeply interconnected desires: 1) to bring light to the personal and systemic unconsciousness of this world and 2) to provide such powerful tools of inner and outer transformation that those systems of harm become obsolete. Born between the blended yet warring worlds of my 2nd generation Asian-American + Charismatic Christian mother and my European-American + Buddhist Mystic father, I, by necessity, have always been a cultural translator and intermediary. Growing up seeing both the blatant duality and hidden unity between my parent's most foundational beliefs, I learned from an early age how to recognize and translate seeming differences into bridges that could foster greater compassion and understanding.
HOW I SHOW UP: by doing my work within so I can without
So what role am I taking in our r/evolution towards systemic regeneration and collective liberation? I’m doing the slow and steady work of starting with myself by allowing myself to openheartedly witness and get intimately familiar with my own traumas, shadows, programming, cycles, and fragmentation — to see where and how within myself I as a microcosm reflect the macrocosm that we are each a part. Using my own inner world as a testing ground, and radical humanization as a primary approach in my work, my aim is to create media, tools, and experiences that model the perfectly human messiness of ego-death and rebirth to encourage us all to uncover our own inherited conditioning with neither taboo nor shame, but the healing alchemy of humility, curiosity, and loving-kindness.
